pistons are speed pro H860CP.With a 64cc head you should be about 10.5 w/58cc 11.2 these figures are with the piston .025 down the hole.if someone is running 58cc heads
i could put a dish piston H859CP comp would be 10.3 the reason for selling is i have a race engine shop in p.a. i build them and sell them.i buy these late model roller block specifically for the corvete guys.i also balance the rotating assembly neutral in the front so you guys could run smaller damper so there is no crossmember issues. also i am a afr dealer so i would give anyone on this forum a smoking hot deal on heads just pm me for price!!! i am hoping to sell enough motors to hopfully justify becoming a sposor i also would be more than happy to answer any questions thanks for the welcome!!!

Hi,
I have a 383 short block for sale. This is a 1 piece rear main seal ,factory roller block with 4 bolt mains. Block has been baked, shotpeened and magnafluxed to ensure there are no cracks. Cylinders are bored and honed to 4.030 using torque plates. Main bores have been line honed, and deck heights blueprinted to 9.000. Oil returns have been enlarged for faster oil drain back. Oil grooves in the cam bores have been cut deeper to feed more oil to the main bearings. Scat 9,000 series cast crank Scat 5.7 I beam rods Speed pro hyperutectic flat top pistons have moly rings. Crank is neutral balanced in the front so you could run any size damper you wish. New sfi approved flex plate balanced and ready for your parts. *This is a new short block Asking $1,800 and thanks for reading my ad.
