| A85L98vette | HELP 85' Vette AFS wheels Baer Track Kit | ||

Hey guys, new to site, need some help. Got a 1985 Vette with AFS 17"x9.5" wheels need to know if the Baer Track Kit fits these wheels. Car is in storage, but want to get the brakes ordered. If you can help me out guys i would be great.

the max rotor size you can use is about 13" with a 17" wheel.
Baer uses a variation on the Corvette brake caliper - made by PBR - so that should be close to a constant. |

Ya, I know what your saying, im just concerned in ordering them and then they dont fit. but i think they will fit because i just found this article...
http://www.vetteweb.com/features/0303Vet_Coming/ In this article they have the AFS wheels with a 14" Baer 6-piston caliper, the ones im after at 13" rotors with 2-piston caliper, seems like im good to go. what do you think? |

it sounds like you should be ok.
If you are still concerned, I would contact Baer directly. you may want to investigate other calipers, too... as I said, the Baer calipers are the same as Corvette calipers... it might be cheaper to get, say, GS calipers.... just a thought. |
