Gents,

I am glad this is staying civil. I hope it stays that way!

Alvin - Welcome!

No reason not to be civil. No animosity here. We tried, didn't work out. I'm sure I made mistakes, but that's not a new situation for me.

PCMforless stood by their product. Their reputation is good, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Just seems I'm out of my depth here. I'll stick with bolt ons and a stock tune. If I need more, I'll buy another car.

As I've said before, there could be something lurking in my car. O2 sensor? Maybe. It was changed a couple years ago, but it could be a crappy one. All I know is it runs much better without the chip. Was it the tune? I don't know.

I'm content, and if Alvin feels I didn't deal fairly with him, I'm sorry, I disagree.

I hope you don't truly feel that way after time passes from this event. Mod your car with minor to moderate performance mods if you desire. Datalog it and send datalogs and give the mail order tuner of your choice a handful of chances to get it dialed in. With a rocker swap or head swap or an intake swap, or even a very mild cam swap, about any mail order tuner will get it dialed in after a couple of tries.

Should you decide to go with major engine mods, such as modererate or large cam or stroker engine, consider getting into your own tuning.
