78, hood needs to be moved to the passenger side. I read on another forum the bolts can be reached from underneath. I believe this may be true on pre 78, but on mine, it appears the vacuum tank/accumulator is in the way and the only way I can do this it to remove the bottom fairing assembly. Before I do that, I figured I would ask for advice.

Bill are you saying you can not get the hood to unlatch or that you just need to adjust them?

There are actually two grommets in the firewall leading in from the wiper trough that will let you use a long flat head screw driver to trip both the latches, releasing the hood. They are kind of hard to get to using that method but with some practice it's possible.
