Stayed up way past my bedtime to watch the Rockies sweep the D'backs. Wow, what a team! But I'm glad I don't have to watch any baseball for about a week. I can't function on 6 hours of sleep.

hm. As a Phillie's fan, I feel no sympathy... so there.

However, as a baseball fan, the Rockie's sure do look good. No question about that. I can't remember the last time a team swept both rounds.

I feel sorry for the AL team they meet... then again, I hope the rest doesn't take the edge off.

I grew up in Pennsylvania. '69-'96.

I remember watching pieces of Phillies games here and there, and sports clips on the local news.

I remember watching Pete Rose play. Couldn't think if his knickname for the life of me, until I Googled it just now...

6 bloody hrs of sleep?? Mate you got more than your far share!! I can only do 4 or 5 hrs of sleep a night at the most. After that, i simply cant get back to sleep.

There was a time that I was accustomed to less sleep. But I've got a long drive to work every morning, so I have to be sharp.

Plus my wife is up at 5am to clock in at 6am. And no matter how quiet I am, she always wakes up as if she's about to be murdered when I walk into the bedroom late at nite if she goes to bed before me.

So I try to avoid that. whip
