Beard Boob By Cross-Dressing Bank Robber

A cross-dressing robber with fake breasts and a bloke wig has been arrested by cops because he failed to shave off his beard.

Other robbers have donned different disguises including Darth Vader and Father Christmas.

But police have labelled Dennis Hawkins the "dumbest" after his alleged raid on a bank in Pennsylvania.

When he was arrested, the 48-year-old suspect was found sitting in a car and covered in red dye from an exploding packet that was in a bag of money.

CCTV of the suspect, who also wore clown trousers, has been released following the raid in Swissvale.

Hawkins apparently robbed the premises at gunpoint, using a toy BB gun he had stolen from a store.

He then allegedly got into a woman's car and she got out, took her keys and alerted police.

Hawkins, of North Braddock, was discovered sitting in the vehicle by officers.

Swissvale Police Chief Greg Geppert said: "He would get my nomination for dumbest criminal I think, yeah he's definitely different.

"I mean with the wig on you still have the face. His black facial hair with a blondish wig, definitely different."

The suspect is currently in custody and is due to appear in court.
