I aplogize, it's been several years since I installed mine.

My harness did have the relay. It gets mounted under the car on a factory bolt.

Racetronix has their own tech forum you can sign up for. I pulled this picture from there.

Good Morning CGs!

Supposed to be a warm sunny day today. We'll have a little bbq later and enjoy it. I need to finish setting up the pool pump today. Takes about an hour maybe.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'll check mine tomorrow, I don't remember how I did it.

Edit - I see now that is a different harness than mine. You bought the harness that has an extra relay for an auxiliary fuel pump. Since most of those are mounted under the rear bumper or in that area that's why the relay is like that. Find a convenient spot and secure it.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Hot and humid here. Got the grass cut today (cut it 3 days ago) in anticipation of 5 days of rain and heat. Didn't want to deal with a jungle next weekend. Pool cover is off so mother nature can add a little moisture to the reservoir. I still need to get the filter system hooked up but it's currently raining.

Marcus - let me know when you need that 600+ hp beast to go on a test drive. I wouldn't want you to scare yourself too bad.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

Still waiting for the nice weather. Oh well, there's always June, right?

VB, sorry to hear about your pool woes. Started draining the pool cover and found a couple of good sized tears. Great. I don't mind water getting in there but my neighbor's tree dumps leaves and muck in there and I don't want it to deep through.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

The party on Sunday was a success. Lots of presents and lots of laughs. We got Olive Garden catering which I wasn't too sure of at first but turned out to be excellent. That was the birthday girl's request so we had to honor it.

Right at the end of the party we had more torrential rain and the power went out. Great. No power means no sump pump. Checked the battery backup....battery was dead. Wtf. My fault. I knew it was sketchy and I didn't replace it. So I used my lithium jump pack to run the backup for a bit. Then my neighbor got his generator from work and we hooked up our main sump pumps. Of course that's when the power came back on...lol.

TB, the cars look good. Definitely a GM family there.

Tommy, glad Sue is feeling better.

Marcus, when will the car be done?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

Cloudy and rainy here. Had quite the t-storm last night, as well.

Tommy - glad the surgery went well and hope Sue is feeling better today.

Today is RR#1's bday. Can't have a gala but we are having a car parade drive by and then having the grandparents over for dinner. Should be nice. It was also her wish to go for a ride in the Corvette. So I got that home finally on Friday night. Just took her out for zip through the industrial park. Coincidentally, the wet pavement made it really hard to keep the car driving in straight line and not spin in circles intermittently. She was pleased.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Weather has finally improved here. Mid sixties and sunny. Very nice.

I have a few days off to relax and hopefully I can get the Corvette out.

eBay has been doing well for me the last week. Lots of sales.

Letty, sorry to hear about the pool troubles. We're not quite ready to open ours but it's an above ground and pretty maintenance free overall.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

More goofy weather. Will be 64 today and 47 tomorrow. Just can't win. Already took the dog for a walk so he could take care of business. We had the lawn fertilizer sprayed on yesterday so he needs to keep off the grass for a few days.

Got into it with the clerk at the post office yesterday. She's a horrible, terrible human being. I'm not just saying that. Miserable as they come. Refused to accept my package because it was a modified flat rate box. I told her that's allowed in your codes. She refused. I had to get a supervisor and then SHOW the supervisor the USPS bulletin that allows it (at regular rates). Then they took it. The supervisor didn't know it either and thanked me for the information.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

Weather is a little nicer today. Not raining constantly and should hit 62*. Still not warm enough but getting there.

Gris - glad the wife is getting around better.

Tommy - good luck on the upcoming / planned surgery.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

This weekend was beautiful, warm weather. Unfortunately it took a turn and yesterday was cold, mid-40s. Today is rain.

Luckily my lawn care guy got the grass cut yesterday morning while it was still nice out. I got the Milwaukee M18 weed whacker and blower combo. I'm pretty impressed with them so far. The blower is also great for cleaning out the garage because no gas fumes.

I've been selling a lot of tools on eBay, people are all doing online shopping during quarantine. No complaints there.

Saw a video today of a girl who wrapped her new C8 in black vinyl with red stripes. Looked sharp.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Can't believe we finally made it to May.

The weather was decent today. Not what I would like out of May but nothing to complain about. Tomorrow should be a little nicer. Long as we can stay away from rain.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I'm running an upgraded walbro from racetronix. They sell it as a kit with a new gasket and stainless steel screws.

Good Morning CGs!

Been spending the past few days with the kids and the wife so haven't been checking in, sorry.

Even though oil prices are in the gutter we haven't seen that translate to "low" gas prices like I've seen posted on the internet. Still about $1.75 a gallon for regular (with 10% ethanol, the devil's juice). Illinois does have one of the highest gas tax rates but still.

I wanted to get the car out this past weekend but the weather has sucked and no reason to take it out to let it sit. Maybe I'll get it next week.

Hope everyone has a great day!

You're overthinking it. My 383 is just fine with stock fuel lines.

The guys that get into heavy boost upgrade or add an additional fuel pump but not necessary for your application.

Good Morning CGs!

A little warmer here today (notice I said "little" and not "lot"). Yesterday I completed the first mow of the season. Got to use my newly acquired Milwaukee M18 weed whacker and blower. The weed whacker doesn't seem to have quite as much power as the old gas powered echo but it's quiet, instant response, and still impressive. I like it. Blower performs extremely well.

Hoping that I can pull the car out this upcoming weekend. We'll see how that goes.

Gris - glad the wife is doing better.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Weekend CGs!

Still cool here. We've actually had a few days of snow if you can believe that. Most is melted now but still a little remaining.

Hoping to take the Corvette out next weekend. I need to pick up a new battery first.

Maybe you could use PVC pipe or cardboard tubing. Or just use thin flexible cardboard as a layout.

Good Morning CGs!

Happy belated birthday, Marcus.

Hope everyone had a great Easter. We had a small meal at home, just the four of us. After dinner we stopped at my mom's and the inlaws' and dropped off some leftovers. Then we watched a movie with the kids. Pretty uneventful.

Weather was in the 60s yesterday and supposed to be 42 today. Not sure what's going on with that, I'm ready for spring.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Agree with Andy, there's no real restriction with the stock air intake. I run the stock box on my 383 with a cut lid.

Good Morning CGs!

Beautiful work on the side cabinet, TB.

Weather is supposed to warm up a bit according to the weather knuckleheads. I'm looking forward to that.

Kids don't have any more schoolwork until 4/7. Trying to keep them busy and away from the TV. It's tough.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Kids were pretty well behaved today. Had them outside on a couple of walks with the dog to get some exercise. They played in the yard a bit, too.

Weather was nice today. Looking forward to spring weather and getting the car out of storage.

Good Afternoon CGs!

We have some wild wind today as a continuation from yesterday's rain and wind.

Dog just caught a bird in the yard because it couldn't fly away and couldn't outrun a shih tzu (fast little bastard). Wife was screaming chasing the dog around the yard and I was just laughing. The dog got a smack from the wife. Neither the dog nor I could understand why. RR#1 started crying at the plight of the poor bird. Of course dad was left to dispatch the creature by way of a large rock in the yard. Couldn't let the little guy suffer. The circle of life.

Gris, hope DW is feeling better.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

Gris, sorry to hear about the wife's misfortune. Hopefully she recovers quickly. I agree that home is the best place. And happy anniversary!

Tommy, really unfortunate that the doctor did that. Sometimes they think they are helping but in reality not. Not just doctors, regular joes, too. But doctors seem to have more of the God complex.

I had a mini fridge listed for sale with the dimensions in the ad - 24/24/36". Guy came to pick it up today in a Toyota Corolla. He's coming back tomorrow with a different car...

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

Supposed to warm up here today a bit. I'm ready.

Letty - sorry about your battery (and blue jean) woes. But that's a nice car and it's always more comforting to cry in a Corvette than a Yugo.

John - sorry to hear about your friend. Hope she is able to beat it.

Good Evening CGs!

We actually got several inches of snow on Sunday afternoon. I couldn't believe it. Of course it's all melted by now. Weather strange sometimes.

Watched a movie with the kids last night. That was two nights in a row - it was actually pretty nice to have family time. In light of everything going on the kids have surprised me with how well-behaved they have been. Very little fighting and they have been listening for the most part. We have a minimum of two more weeks of this and maybe longer. Quite the spring break.

Hope everyone had a great day!

I tend to agree with this. I never had an answer for the nature vs nurture debate until I had my own kids. I could see their personality quirks and nuances from the time they are babies. Pretty amazing, actually.

Cool here today. They are talking about snow later. Can't believe it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Neighbor boy is 17 years old now. Great kid, very smart and polite. I used to babysit him when he was little. They do grow up fast. The other day he was struggling to put a new off-road bumper on his Jeep. Told the old man to have him come over today. So he came and got me this afternoon and with a little experience and a couple of my tools we were able to get it swapped out with little trouble and only a few swear words. I showed him how and let him do most of the work. Eager to learn and no arguing. How do I teach my kids to do that?

Good Morning CGs!

Looking forward to seeing pictures of Marcus' Honda now that he found an elusive missing piece.

Schools might be closed longer here, not sure yet. State is supposed to impose some mandatory quarantine and shutdown today. We'll see what happens.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

Cool and damp here. Already had the four-legged child out for a walk and his morning constitutional.

I have a few days off so let's see how stir crazy the kids are. Not many places to take them but we'll make it out the the forest trails or something similar.

Chicago mayor just announced she will close the schools until April 29th. Wow. My kids are not part of that school system so we'll have to see what happens elsewhere.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

Cool and overcast here today. It was supposed to warm up but I don't see it happening.

More and more places are shutting down around here. I believe the mall just shut down yesterday which is surprising because that should have been closed before restaurants in my opinion. I have heard of other states closing school until the end of the year but I don't think that's necessary. Only time will tell.

Local sales have slowed down but people are still looking for deals on the internet. I've shipped a few things in the past couple of days.

Luckily with all this free time Marcus will have time to finish the Honda

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

The coronavirus sanctions are continuing here. The governor announced yesterday that restaurants will be closed except for carryout / delivery orders. A reasonable idea if you ask me albeit hard for the workers. Kids are supposed to have one day of school tomorrow to collect their work but we won't be sending them. Everything is online anyway.

I've got guns, ammo, cash, and canned goods. A country boy can survive.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

Cold here and we have a few flurries in the sky.

I can feel the effects of the coronavirus scare because my tool sales have slowed. School be closed for almost 3 weeks per governor's order. Luckily we are able to provide child care for the kids. I feel bad for other people who don't have that ability.

I'm still on the fence about what to think about this whole deal. I don't know if it's a good precautionary measure or blown out of proportion. Only time will tell.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Evening CGs!

Tommy, with as many cruises as you take I thought you already owned stock in the cruise lines?

John, jealous of the photo for two reasons: one, you got the car out for the spring and two, your wife actually likes your car!

Still on the fence about the whole coronavirus pandemonium. Fact / fiction? Media blowing everything out of proportion? Not sure. Seems like a lot more precaution than the previous swine flu, Sars, etc. We can only wait and see.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Good Morning CGs!

I apologize for being missing the last week or so. It's amazing how time seems to slip away. I can't believe it's the end of February already. Short month or not it has definitely gone quickly.

I've been keeping busy around the house and with the kids. I have been searching out tool deals but it is somewhat slow lately. Still finding a few here and there.

Short work week for me this week. This weekend we will be heading to Detroit for the car show. So if anyone is there please let me know and I'll try to meet up with you.

Tommy, hope the wife is doing better. Sorry to hear that she was not mending as quickly as we had hoped.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Sorry for the delay Steve. Did you sort this out?

It is possible you installed the chip backwards.

It is also possible the new ECM is bad.

What was the reason for replacing the ECM in the first place?

Good Morning CGs!

Still cool here but not terribly called because the sun is out. A lot of the snow has melted.

TB - sounds like you're making good progress. At least it's not plumbing, right?

Gris - I really don't like politics but have you followed the newest thing here for Illinois? Trump commuted the sentence for our former Governor Rod Blagojevich. At first I couldn't figure out why Republican Trump would do that for a Democrat but if you dig a little deeper you'll see that Blagojevich was tied up with the current Democratic governor during the scandal prior to him becoming governor.... Sounds like a birdie is going to sing.

Hope everyone has a great day!

If you replaced the ecm you should have transferred your prom from the original.
