Qack | Horn Relay | ||

Ok, here's the status. I've owned the car for ten days and need to get the horn fixed before I can pass the safety inspection. I have volume ii of the FSM in hand and volume i is on the way. My horns work for the security system, but don't work when I try them from the steering wheel. I have gone through the diagnostic chart in section 40 of vfsm vol ii, and my next step is to check the horn relay. OK so far, it's under dash on the passenger side.
How do I gain access to it so I can check it? My car's a '94 and does not have the "hush panel" that the older C4s have, and it's not obvious to me how to remove the lower dash piece. Any help would be HUGELY appreciated. Pete |
