Was just reading about the 90 compressor that froze up. Was trying to recharge the system, had to jumper the high side to get the compressor to turn when it went up in smoke. Am trying to remove the compressor have one bolt at the seven position another at the three which required removal of the valve cover to get out but seems like there is a third one at six that is partially covered by the pulley assy, what am I missing? Never had this much hassle removing a compressor. Does the pulley assy have to be removed?

the bolt under the pulley goes through a notch in said pulley. If you manually turn the pulley, you should be able to line up the notch.

As for the rear facing one, IIRC, it should wiggle free without the rocker cover coming off.
