Welcome aboard!

May I give you some insight on this transaction?

Corvette sales are, generally speaking, in the tank. The economy has hit us really hard. The days of a Corvette overselling book prices is long gone; especially for C4s.

Unless the car is uber clean! And yours sounds that way. I would add some pictures.

The combo of a red 6spd roadster really rocks! With the mileage, your asking price is fair. I would actually take the "FIRM" off and be a little flexible. Again, the economy has killed the market a bit.

A few places to advert:

1) DC and Baltimore craigslist
2) Ocean City, Annapolis and Kent Island area papers
3) ebay
4) Avoid the DE and MD State News, lame....

Really leverage your local options. The money is there, finding the buyer is the hard part!!!

If you can't sell it now, and I am not convinced you will, consider these opitions:

1) Mecom auto auction at Corvettes at Carlisle, end of August.
2) Wait until March. These things sell best in the spring.

Drop me a PM and I'll forward my email address. Send me a photo and I'll put it in our newsletter. We have a couple hundred members in Maryland. Also, Kent Island Cruisers is a good club resource on the eastern shore. I also have lots of friends in Corvette Annapolis, Baltimore County Corvettes etc. Being an NCCC club I know lots of these folks and might be able to help you locally.
