what keeps the door windows from floppin when open door ? drivers side is floppy (glass leans in when open door)

There are a series of pads across the top of the inside of the door. These pads can be adjusted in and out to come to the proper grip on the window. Too much and the window won't move. Too little and the window will flop. The bolts that hold these pads in place are the very ones used by many to cure the sagging door panel syndrome.
