Spano GTA
The chassis was made by combining carbon fibre, titanium and Kevlar, making it a benchmark in the industry. Its V10 engine is in a rear longitudinal position and gives an output of 820 hp and 960 Nm of torque. Attach file: spano gta.jpg (0.00 KB) |

Ok... I have one for ya... 1920's era, Bugatti, Type 35C. This little bugger was equipped with a 2 litre I-8, supercharged. When tested by a British car mag back in the 1980s, was capable of 0-60 in 6 SECONDS and 100 mph in 16, with a top speed of 124. Those numbers are absolutely staggering to me. That little Bug was about the fastest thing on the road until the late 1950s!!!! I want one now so I can go out on the freeway and mess with so-called fast cars!!! I just don't have the $2m necessary to buy the little racer. And I love the alloy rims... how iconic? |

And when GM licenses someone to take a new Corvette and....
Soleil Motors is back at Top Marques 2012 with the Anadi, a coachbuilt Corvette which made its official debut at last year’s edition of the prestigious car show in Monaco. The Corvette received a complete new body work. The design was inspired by the human eye. According to the designer, these forms can be found in everything from the headlights to the windows. Another design feature is the illuminated honeycomb grill at the front, which signals your arrival from far. Attach file: anadi.jpg (0.00 KB) anadi1.jpg (0.00 KB) |

I love it when marginally talented designers are given money to design something... and that comes out.
It simply doesn't impress me. It looks like a revisualization, at best, of what was already there. Where is this "eye" thing coming in from? I don't see it. It has a few "Corvette" things attached and a different side view. If you want to redo the Vette, do it right... One Corvette Pininfarina Rondine. That's nice. |
