went from 50 to as low as 32 psi seemed to fluctuate alot at steady 70 mph ...why? normally been around 40 unless idle or cold...bad sender?

These come to mind in no particular order:
gauge
sensor
wiring
(loose, blocked, or disco) pickup tube
(low) oil level
clogged oil return holes in head(s)
Oil filter in bypass mode
worn pump

Does the pressure fluctuate only while at speed? If not, put a mechanical gauge on it and see what the pressure really is.

thanks 94 ...ill check...havent reall drivin it much (just bought and winter) but its stayed firm in the 40lbs when ive drivin it ...until20 miles to tech shop where its sitton right now...when git her back ill run thru what ya said ...oil was full n clean

It is electronic. Oil pumps are very predictable...

As oil heats, pressure drops. As RPMs change, pressure changes.

Don't fret it.

yea i hear ya bog...freezing as left so 20 miles would of warmed her....but it seemed to rise and fall between 30 and 50 as i went 70 down freeway , i could watch it fluctuate...ill keep n eye when i start driving it...so far with your guys help all things are just lil things and me being real critical of new (to me) vet...im like that ill disect it to be sure im going to keep it...preciate the idears
