Will this USB ALDL cable work for me? http://www.aldlcable.com/sc/details.asp?item=aldlobd1u
What version of Windows would work best ?
Considering TTS Datamaster software. Their website shows the serial port cable. I want to use my mac with bootcamp.

Windows XP would work best, it is the most stable in my experience and ive never had a problem with it while datalogging.

That cable should work, although i cant be certain, ive never tested it. My ASUS laptop has an RS-232 port on it.

SOunds like you got it. I used the USB adapter from Moates. The included driver can be port selected to work with other dataloggers as well. It also has a switchable 10K resistor built it. TTS works best.

If you have a spare HD and now how to Ghost copy, any trial version can be used.
