My father is 60 and while growing up I heard about how he and his best friend were going to buy a 66 vert after graduating and drive across the US, never happened. I decided at 38 I had waited long enough so I found my 92 coupe and bought it. I invited my dad over to surprise him with my 'someday' Corvette. He was happy and said he would like to drive it a least once and I said sure. I have always respected and looked up to him and when I was at his house recently I gave him a set of keys and said its available whenever you get the urge to have some fun. LOL, you would have thought I just told my 14 yearold son the same thing. He had a grin from ear to ear and said 'you mean like for a whole day if I want?'. Man, that felt so good. I can't wait for summer!
