cc er who ever had the cool pix on the 4+3 tranny filter ...kin ya post em again...er who ever has changed there own 4+3 tranny oil n filter... i bought the oil n filter today n my haynes book sez has two bolts n pix show same shaped filter but two bolts in it...ill be out in country when use nephews lift ..so tryun ta git evo thin in order...any tips on wtf im talkin about...the pan wont be n issue jus want right filter n hook it in right...its the ac 184 converted to a tf 124...whicn is same as a bunch of the nos. ive gottin from cc awreadt..so filtr must be right...point hows it attach ?? besides keepin oring n permatex... gonna do both trannys n engine oil n rotate wheels whilst have on lift n what evo else i find...sarry so big mouthed but betta now then when on lift dig! thanks papps

ok maybe i jus need ta take sum pills blow sum grass er the likes heyhuh...after rereadin a few times... i rekon the two bolt filter pix are of a standard auto tranny...so feel free ta slap me n gimme cheeyut...but any tips ifn wrong would be preciated...i git thru this stuff ok ....fer real ...been doin my own werk fer years...n muchoo...fabbin n rebuildin on grounds equipment at werk an many a ol motsickles too...but nevo hurts to have the know from those thats been there dig!!!

but I think that filter is held in place by the o-ring. It just pulls off.

CC had to keep badgering me to pull that pan off. I was reluctant to do it...not knowing what I would find.

Once I listened to him, there were a lot of things revealed for me.

thanks again..thats what im skeert on too...ive heard so much bad on that tranny...mine seems fine...lil vib in 3rd (like fork not lined up perfect ,,,ony on decell) n 65k of unkown owners...cars in real noice shape so i r hopin fer the best...and changin all fluids is mt 1st priortity...so far master and high pressure cut out switch n blew sum 134 in it..n alls been well i rekon...cept aint really drivin since winter wont give up..soon itll be daily driver well mostly use ol chop..but ifn ain daily driver she be fer sale
