CentralCoaster Super T10 / 4+3.... What is the measurement for a used up synchro?

I've been inside two of these things, and measured synchros on new parts at about .047 to .058"

I have one here with about .031-.039 gap between the synchro and the dogs. How much does this one have left on it? Does oil affect the measurement? These ones are a little dry.
