ok, the guy that owns it screwed over my mech. he owes $2400, so i told my mech. that i would buy it for what the guy owed, nothing more, and to let the guy know. i should hear something soon. i will be parting this car out if i buy it :thumbright:

pretty bad, sat in a field for 23 years, mouse infested, gree on the paint, the paint is faded bad, and cracked, it needed to be rewired, a new clutch, new injectors, it runs and moves.

Man, the value of a car in that bad of shape is near $1500. $2500 is too much if you ask me. First year of the L98, iron headed...and EVERYTHING will need to be replaced more than likely. I don't even know if you could part it out. Send some pics our way. I wish I was closer, it would be a great project for the guru garage!

i'll get pics. i figure the hood, top, seats, rearend have to be worth something. the body parts just need new paint, the doors are intact, i dunno, we'll see

Yeah..I am withdrawing my original suggestion that it was worth only $1500. I jumped the gun on that becasue I read that a parts car was worth that. However, I didn't see that it was a manual which would mean more than likely mean D44 rear. Depending on how well the body is, you may be able to get a few hundred for the body parts, a couple hundred for the motor and a couple for the tranny. Hell I amy be interested in the seats and tracks if they are there.

You could pull $1,500 for a DANA 44 alone couldnt you? I have no idea on the value of a gear box in one of them, a top is worth abit though if its any good, doors, seat frames and tracks if they are electric, even the frame if it is nice and straight. (you might be able to buy a close-to-complete wreck and make one nice straight car out of the 2)
