So it actually records onto a DVD? If so does your computer have a DVD player? If so, then you may be able to transfer the file from the DVD to your computer that way.

If not, you have to have a way to connect the too. It should either have a USB port or a IEE Port. Then you have to have a program that will copy it onto your harddrive. I am not sure if Windows Movie Maker can do it or not.

Once you get it on your computer, you have to shrink it and transcode it into a .wmv or .mpg file or it will be too big.

I have to finalize the DVD for it to work and I dont want to make say a 30sec to 2 min video and then finalize the DVD just to put it onto my puter. I think I have a cable though. I do have nero 7, dvd shrink and movie maker. I will try one of them. How about host sites? Thanks

Depending on the file type it writes as, Windows Movie Maker might be able to do something with it, and its pretty simple to use. Transfer from the cam to the PC using the (in order of preference) IEEE cable or the USB cable. Then once you have it down to a manageable size with Movie Maker, either upload it to streetfire.net or your photobucket.com account.
