Hello all, my first post here.

I have a 95 LT-1 that im freshening up, and im having trouble choosing a cam.
Ive been told your cam has to match a great number of variables, and im not sure where mine falls. As far as mods go, i just purchased edelbrock performer heads, a breathless vortex intake, these wheels and i currently have corsa exhaust. Everything else is stock. Any cam suggestions that will match this setup? or other relatively cheap mods while im getting the engine molested?

Thanks

Welcome!

LT4 Hotcam and a set of roller rockers. You will also want a set of hardened pushrods.

GM sells a complete kit for a fair price. check summit racing.

To really recommend a cam, we'd need to know a lot more about your car and your goals.

What do you mean by freshening up? New rings and bearings? Just new heads and cam?

Stick or auto? If auto, are you using the stock stall converter?

Gears?

What are your goals for the car? Daily driver? Drag race? Smooth idle? Killer power?

Welcome aboard, and those are killer wheels!

A nice street cam is the Crane 104227. Often referred to as the "227" cam, it has a duration of 210/224.
