I recently purchased a 2005 Volvo S60 2.5 Turbo. I bought it with very low mileage (35000 miles), and the factory warranty. Curious if anyone else has a Volvo and how has it been? So far so good with this car. It gets very close to 40 mpg on the highway which is good since it moves out very well for a family car, and has alot of options.

the only thing, with it being a turbo, would be a turbo timer. that will keep the engine running for another minute or two to allow the turbo to spool down.
otherwise, the turbo is running at 100k RPM and has no oil... think about that for a moment. Use synthetic oils and you should be ok. Find a good tech and feed him well. |

It has something like that from the factory. Not sure if it's a turbo timer but it's something.
