This kart is for roadrace only, can't run on the sprintkart tracks.
1. First paint with aluminum bodywork 2. Second Paint job 3,4,5. I wanted a one piece body so I built my own molds and handlaid a body. Did the paint too. Specs - Roadrace only. Class - SuperStock. 100cc Parilla reed valve motor turning 19,800 RPM. Custom modified centrifugal clutch mounted on the axle, set up to fully lock at 11,800 RPM. Laptimes - about 1 second slower than a T1 - C5. Attach file: kart15.jpg (0.00 KB) kart9.jpg (0.00 KB) kart10.jpg (0.00 KB) kart7.jpg (0.00 KB) kart11.jpg (0.00 KB) |

it looks like a little-bitty F1 car from the 70s. What is the hp of that motor? Reed Valve? 2-stroke? |

Thanks Andy, It's a reed valve motor, the stock hp is around 19. This one has more. I did a bunch or porting and port timing work. Never had it on a dyno but, the stock motor would only spin about 17,800rpm and I had it to 19,800 at Infineon.
This kart was extremely fast. Mutiple wins at Sears Point, ThunderHill, Willow springs, ButtonWillow. California Regional Champion 5 out of ten years. |
