Nevermind the title, I don't think it is blowing through at this point after more testing. It is pulling too hard through 2nd gear on the spray to be blowing through, I think. It doesn't seem to free rev, it just pulls hard way up past my N/A shift point. I'm pretty sure it is just getting such a run at the shift point on the spray that it is raising the shift point by quite a few hundred rpms. Seems that letting the converter lock at the top of 2nd helps eliminate the problem quite a bit, by bringing the rpms down quite a few hundred right before the shift. As long as the converter lasts locking up at WOT on a 225 shot I'll be fine. Working my way up, the 150 jets are in now. It's a TCS 2800 stall with anti-balloon plate. Time will tell!

I would talk to the company that made the converter. There isn't any reason you shouldn't be able to install a converter that will stall at 2800 or on motor, and handle ~600 HP on the spray. Hell man, LS1 guys do that all the time, there has to be a similar option for us.
