Just to help 'Ol Paps here, the 210 is the biggest of the York compressors. It's super vauable to the crawlers and mudders because when mounted and plumbed properly it's an on board air system capable or filling a 20 gallon tank in about 25 seconds and it can easily run air tools like air ratchets and air guns.

I had one plumbed with a 10 gallon tank, a pressure switch to shut it off when it reached 135, and several accessory outlets. It was a fantastic addition to my work truck and I used it a lot.

That compressor will not fit any Vette. GM NEVER used the Yorks. Ford did for sure, as did AMC.

GM always used their own Harrison or Frigidaire compressors. Chrysler had their own, too, the R2, IIRC. Many European cars used GM units before adopting the Japanese ones. Ferrari, Audi, Mercedes... all used GM units over the years. Same with Rolls Royce. Ferrari alternated... they would use GM for some, Japanese for others. Rather odd. I have seen both.

It wasn't until the advent of lighter Japanese compressors that the American iron lost favor. The Hitachi and Sanyo compressors are really good units.

Your title confused the hell outta me Pappy, and I understand "Pappy" pretty well. Had to fix it up for you.

I suppose this should be moved to the classified section, but I won't be the one to do it. Some of you know why.
