Jeff,

This is an excellent file. Really easy to understand even for someone who has never done this before. This should be permanently posted somewhere on the site.

GREAT NEWS!!!

Although my autoprom is still not working correctly (more than likely user error) I was able to burn a few chips by removing and reinstalling them. Using Jeff's XDF file I was able to make enough small changes to a file I found that I was able to get the car running properly about 85%. It runs almost perfectly from 3000-6000RPM at WOT. I think the tune is going to need very minor adjustment there. There is a little pinging around 1900-2200 RPM's at about a 30-40% load. My father and I took the car out for its first ride yesterday. It rides like a new car with only 36K miles on it. Even raced a Buick Apollo and it was able to hold its own. Its very quick for what it is. Its great to finally get a little satisfaction out of nearly 2.5 years of labor. I will post some videos and pictures in a new thread..... and then its onto saving the next c4.

(LS swap anyone?)
