Beautiful morning here in N.W. Indiana. Sunny temps in the lower 60's. Well today is the Mrs last day of Radiation treatment. It feels great the this part is over with. With some luck and the grace of God all tests in 3 months will be negative.

Happy Easter gang. It's cool here too this morning. At least we have sunshine. The Mrs is two and a half weeks into radiation treatment. It's starting to affect her now. But we have high hopes that when this is done she'll be all better. Sore throat and messed up taste buds are what's bothering her now. We hope this is as bad as it gets.

I agree Tommy that is just unforgivable.
On the weather note we had about 3 inches of snow last night and should get about another 3 by the end of the weekend.

Today we got some great news. The Dr came by today and told us that she is cancer free. Hope everyone has a great day.

Thanks for the well wishes. Hope your mom gets better Ken. The Mrs had a stroke when she was 39. It affected her speech center also. If that is the only part affected then that is good. It may take awhile to fully get her speech back. Don't be surprised if she has trouble getting the right word to come out. Ie she'll want to say bus but can't. She knows the word but she will be able to describe it not say it. That gets better over time.

Good evening gang. Mrs Captmike13 had surgery today to get rid of the cancer she had. Good news is the Dr said he got it all. Now waiting for results from tests on the limph nodes. She'll be out of the hospital next week. We're on the road to recovery.

Sorry to hear his passing. RIP Bill.

Woke up to a white Christmas. Now it can all melt and go away. I know it's not going to happen but it is a nice thought. I got a new pair of sweats and slippers. The mrs. got a pair of slippers.

The honey do list today is to go clean the driveway.

I hope everyone is having a good holiday. We've had a rough couple weeks here. We got back from thanksgiving and we found out the Mrs has mouth cancer. We're praying it was caught early. We'll find out more next year when she goes for some X-rays and a cat scan. Please keep us in your prayers as we keep everyone else who isn't feeling well in our prayers.

A little chilly here to start. Temps in the mid 30's with a frost advisory for today and tomorrow. With that news looks like I'll be putty the lawn mower away for the season and bringing out the snow blower.

Word of the day is deadwood.

We got some bad news in the family two weeks ago. My sister in law was diagnosed with breast cancer. My brother took it pretty hard but has his hopes up because they think they caught it early.

Now that the cooler weather is here looks like the fall colors will finally get going. At least I'm hoping so.

Just checking in. Not much going on here. Was cool this morning and should be around 60. Fall is finally here.

We got the camper all winterized and put up for the winter.

Next up over the next few weeks is to get the snow blower out and to find out how to get it in the garage. The new Acadia is longer than the Cadillac was so space is a premium.

Cool here 65 outside. Should be a nice day with temps in the mid to upper 80's. We went to a free concert yesterday and saw a few bands with the highlight being Molly Hatchet. We got our T's signed after the show at a meet and greet. Today's agenda is to go home and finish the bathroom project. I put a new floor in and now I have to put the new toilet in.

Well I've been on vacation since I got back from Ca. Been nice to relax. Bought the wife a new 2017 Acadia for her birthday. We traded the caddy in. It's was a loaded Dealer loaner. We picked it up last week. It's the Denali package. So far the Ellen is loving it. Color is Mineral Metallic.
