Spyke channel had a marathon yesterday of season 3. First time I watched the show and I watched all episodes all day long with the help of TiVo. Great show. New season starts this week.
I need to go find seasons 1 and 2 now.....

Man, this reminds me of one of my co-workers. A few years ago she bought one of the first new Jeep Libertys. She was driving down to Florida when a ball joint broke and she flipped it a few times. She has some back injuries but is ok now. Anyway, Jeep refused to give here a new Jeep because they felt they were not to blame. Her insurance company had to buy her a new one, and THEN DROPPED HER.
Now, JEEP is recalling all of them for that same problem....

OK..first off, welcome to the guru! Feel free to register..its free! And become a C4guru member.
As far as your brakes, first question...after you start the car up...do you here the antilock system "que up"? There should be a whining noise behind your seat that will last about 3 -4 seconds. Check that and get back to us.

Ok, as promised I have a new C4 video download page. Anyone can sdd s link to C4 videos. If its not C4 Corvette related in some way, it will be deleted. Until I get a link up top, here it is:

I bought some Grand Sport Brakes(13" with "Corvette" on them) a couple years ago from a CF member. I am hoping to get them on in one of the episodes of Guru Garage. I just hope everything is there!

 I was gonna say O2 sensor...they do go bad. And some have been know to be bad even if bought new.

I know its a different vehicle, but in my Ford Ranger, the vacuum "ball" had a hose come off and it did the exact same thing. Check the hoses around it and see what happens.

I am no gear expert but I am pretty sure you will be ok if you park it now until you replace it with what is recommended by GM. Those gears are pretty tough and running GL-4 for that short time period shouldn't have done any damage at all.

Sounds like you a have some wekeend projects ahead of you!! I took the attenna out of mineand it wasn't bad, but it wasn't fun either. You know what you COULD do? Take some pictures of it as you do it and the thermostat and make some tech tips for us!!!

C4guru wants to meet it's members! How you ask? As many of you have heard, we are starting "Guru Garage", a 30 minute episode with articles and tech tips solely for the C4 Corvette. One part that I am really wanting to pursue is to meet some of the members of our community.
Here's what I ask of those that are not shy! Using the best quality video you can muster, video tape yourself with your C4 no matter the condition or status! Show us all your favorite details about it! You use driving shots, static shots, night shots, just be creative as you want to be! The only thing that I will REQUIRE is that YOU are shown in the video. We are wanting to meet YOU! Tell us about yourself and so forth. You reall name will not be used if you don't want it to, just your member name. Depending on the response to this request, I will show a new one for each episode. PM me for my address to submit videos. You can submit VHS or DVDs. Thanks!! and lets do this!

The problem with my day shift is that I drive a Frieghtliner ambulance. This morning I had to go on two trips which one of them was 1 1/2 hours each way. Was not the easiest thing to do. Once I got back I was able to lay down and sleep for about 3 hours.

Good news! I have been talking with my wife for the last year or so about starting a screen printing business, and now presents a good as time as any. It will save me tons of money and I can make small batches as needed.
We will be making the investment soon and I FOR SURE have numerous styles available!
