My favorite has to be the gearwrench set. What life savers.

Best tools to have.

But the best tool is the helms manual.

You might want to get some speed bleeders - everybody says they make the job much easier. I just got some, but won't get to try them for a couple months.

I've had a few issues with customers wanting speed bleeders. I've had a few that leak. I refuse to use them.

Finally got a chance to watch this show. I must say, they overestimated the stupidity of the audience.... well it is a NASCAR channel.

Early in the show they said they were using a 5 speed.... when they put it into the car they said it was a 6 speed?

Buying a new ZZ4 and then slapping the stock intake and base on? Then using an old water pump, which they had no idea how long it had been on the car on the new motor? WTF? People trust these guys to work on their car?

On top of it all, when they replaced the intake with chroeme crap, I love all the dirt and debris that is falling off into the open motor. Not sure why they wouldn't upgrade to a glass window on the vert top. They also mentioned the suspension, but they never changed any of the bushings or any suspension gear, that they at least showed. Upgrade the front and rear bumpers, but don't change the side gills, nor does it look like they changed the door moldings.

Nice torque wrench they were using as well

Plus, I was already at the class minimum pwr/wt ratio so I didn't want to risk removing any more weight.

You're thinking is wrong on the weight issue. Remove as much weight as you can from bad areas. If you need to add weight back, you use the passenger side floorboard to do that. It's got a LCG at that point and you have 4 bolts that come up for easy attachment.

Wiring is a PITA. When doing a race car, you need to make sure it's easily accessible, can be changed out easily if damaged and also out of the way of any driver movement.

I've sent your request on to honor your wishes, sorry you feel this way.

Happy New Year as well.

Here's the response. I don't want to have anything to do with that place.

I didn't have much success in the CF ZR1 section. I'm sure you've seen my posts there.

So how do we get Jeffvette over here?

As much as I would like to join over here and stay, I believe my home for the immediate future is on the ZR1registry forum. Several guys have bailed on the ZR1 section at CF and are now using the registry forum for their help.

I am over on the actioncenter, but it's ZR-1 section is a POS. I'm on DC, but the C4 section on that site is such a joke, it should be shut down.

I did pop into the regular C4 section at the CF, but it was full with such bullshit and people with limited knowledge helping, it got to be so cumbersome to try and correct the people posting bad info.
