Seems like a slight vacuum leak might be the problem.

Using a short piece of tubing or garden hose, listen for leaks while the engine is idling.

Also try checking the intake tubes and plenum bolts for tightness.

Good luck

If your listed in the second group and wish to play please PM me ASAP.

The bearings will be ordered by weeks end all monies need to be in the bank at that time.

NOTE If you want to sent money via USPS, Use the priority flat rate mail envelope for a cost of around 5 bucks.

For the first two members listed in the second group to reply to this call, Wednesday the 7th.

For the second group to materialize for the second set of bearings, after Christmas.

I may very soon be needing a RW bearing/hub for my LT4 coupe. Can anyone vouch for the quality/durability of these new assemblies? I'm intrigued by the tapered bearing design. Seems to me that's the way they should have been built all along. What are the differences between the install procedure for these as opposed to the OEM-style bearings?

Please read the entire first post AND the two links to the other posts at another forum. All of your questions can be answered there.

Why can't you post the paypal info in the thread?

Because I care not to share my email addresses with the world, just with those that have a need to know.

Lets try that PM again..

Case, These are NTN - NSKF bearings. The RWB as a part is assembled by this vendor. The bearings have gone the distance so far with a few CF members having good success in autocrossing.

Finally!

Price? 257.90 a pair, plus $10 shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
Just in case, here are some other prices from the web;

C4guru GP TAPERED 267.90 includes shipping
Corvette Central BALL 299.99 w/o shipping
Ecklers BALL 299.99 w/o shipping
Ecklers AC Delco BALL 575.98 w/o shipping
Rock Auto BALL 311.58 w/o shipping
Ebay TAPERED (same part) 313.76 includes shipping

The GP will be broken into blocks of 15 pairs, one pair per member for the first block. The first block will start now and end when the money is collected or the 5th of November which ever comes first. Shipment will take 2-3 weeks and I'll get'em out to you ASAP!

I expect the second block to commence after the first of the new year. Those members that listed on the original CF post have reservations to the first block. NOTE: You must be registered with C4guru and paid by November 5th. If not I will offer the reservation to the next members on the list.

OK. Why C4guru? It turns out that to run a GP at the CF you must be a Supporting Vendor. This prevents members from undercutting the other vendors pricing. Makes sense to me but we can get a much better price here and pass the savings onto the members.

Heres the list of reservations. I will update this list as each member checks in and payments are received. Please PM me or use my listed email address. I will send the payment info at that time.

Oh yeah, payments can be sent via PayPal or MO's. No checks or CC's.

I'll check in twice a day to update this info column.
If your not listed, please contact me ASAP.
ALSO Please communicate with c4guru PM or email. NOT on the CF
