Hi there thanks for the reply. I agree that his article is very well written and it would probably be enough for me to do the job I was just hoping to find one like it for my C4 LT1. I will probably start my swap tonight, I have about 2 months before the weather will be ready for me to drive it again so I am not in any hurry. I just wanted a step by step plan in front of me when I started. I thought Bogus had a write up someplace around but I can not seem to find it. I doubt there are many changes from the F-body instructions but I did hear about unbolting the motor and jacking the front up to make room to slip the cam out, that’s the kind of C4 specific stuff I want.

I found this great F-Body write up;

http://shbox.com/ci/cam_removal.html

Does anyone know of one for the Vette? I have looked and had no luck, at least I have not found one near as good.

Any way those links could be moved to the top of the page? Or maybe the top and the bottom?

The brace that you are talking about is in the way of the rear bolt to the lower control arm sliding out. It is easy to remove and put back in so it should not hold you up at all. I did slide the bolt in from the other direction when I put mine back together though just so I would not have to remove that brace if I ever take it apart again. Maybe someone already did this mod for you?
