From: Mrs.Cynthia Ogodo and son.
15 rue des Plateau
Abidjan-Ivory Coast.
Tel: +22547280024

Dearest one,

My name is Mrs.Cynthia Ogodo from Ivory Coast, I am a widow being that I lost my husband a couple of years ago, My Husband was a serving director of the Cocoa exporting board before he was assassinated during the War uprising here in my country. My husband deposited (US$8,000,000.00) Eight million dollars in a prime bank here when he was alive, He made deposit for the safe keeping for the bright future of our only Child Gilbert who is 19years old now.

Please i need your help to transfer this money out of the country to a safe account in your country as my foreign partner. Due to the war crises here in my country, I have plans to come over to your country with my son Gilbert as soon as the bank here transfer the money to a safe bank account in your country, to do investment like real estate or any good industrial Production.

Please indicate your interest to help me and my son as soon as possible so that i can direct you with more details confidently. I am very sick widow woman with cancer and my doctor have told me recently that i will not last for any longer due to my health condition, but i am only trusting God that i will not die. I need to leave this country with my son Gilbert as soon as the money transfer out to any secured bank account you can provide in your country for the transfer, and we shall stay in your country for my proper medical care, both for the investment of the money and my son will continue his education in your country under your direction.

Finally I will give you 20% from the total amount for your humble assistance once the bank transfers the money safety into your account. Please reply back confidentially to my private email address (ogodo.family@yhaoo.com) .May God bless.

Thanks and God bless.

Mrs.Cynthia Ogodo and son.

I'll have to check when I get home tonight, but, I think the lt1 idles at somethin rediculously low like 6 lbs. I think I read that in the C4 Corvette Specs. Like I said I'll have to check. My 94 looses a significant amount of Pressure once the oil is up to temp. It stays just out of the "OH NO" zone on the dash gauge but like these guys are saying, those gauges suck

Geez, not even my dog and I find it hard to swallow. Put ours down almost 10 years ago and I can't bring myself to get another just yet. That day will come again for both of us though my friend. Once you've had a good dog in your life, you will eventually will get another. I know I will someday.

No Government giveaway in my account yet either. At the rate gas prices are climbing though, it will probably end up in the gas tank, Although getting my rear installed would be nice as I never seem to find the time! Like you guys though, the wife seems to have different designs for it LOL!

Have a better day Folks,
Signed , me

Except for the part about working on the vette and mowing the grass.....hahaha>>> crack open a cold one and watch tv I guess. Don't worry, I wait 'till afternoon for the beer.

Hey if I use the word Alpine around here will you guys start screaming "CrackHead!!!!!" I was in Best buy today looking.I found an Alpine CDA9884 and also an Alpine IDAX200. Both sounded decent through an alpine 100w amp and 6 1/2" speakers. Could even get away without the amp temporarily....

AAAAAaaaHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! $%$%^%^^@@@^$@#$$!!!!!!

Hurricanes in August are a hit or miss situation. Andrew hit in August. Just have a back up plan and watch the Carribean for at least a few days before you decide to come down. Are you flying? Consider trip insurance. There is nothing quite like the thrill of a hurricane.

HeHe, the web site does funny things sometimes...

We fly south pretty much the last week in Aug every year . Our Anniversary ( 23 this year) is the 24th or 25th of Aug (Oh Sh*t, I'm dead!.....j/k, its the 24th) I like to be as far south as I can get. I love to cast in a line in off the beach. And, the further south the prettier the fish. But, on several occasions we've ended up driving to North Central due to impending Hurricaines and hit the Kissemme tourist traps.

Yea ! I'm gonna need to follow up! Whats the last 2 weeks of August lookin' like Tommy? i'm trying to get down there for some r&r then. I don't know exactly where just yet....We were on Marathon when Katrina hit. The kids loved it. They got to surf the storm surge. I'm not up for that again, so, keep us posted.

My oldest son's High School Jazz Band won there competition for the season. They came in on top of 200 other bands in Pa and NJ. When they announced the winners, you'd have thought you were at a Football game. The kids were Loud and Proud. We support his music because he enjoy's it. Not stage parents like that little dancing 1st grader has. as cute as she is there is a dark side to that. I hope she gets to play sometime and be a kid.

see you guys...

Hey Casey,
I just finished watching a program on The worlds most dangerous highways. One of them was 1A that runs from Adelaide to Perth on the South Western side of Australia. 1500 miles (2400km?) of the straightest, flatest highway in the world. They said it boars you to death!! It is actually so unremarkable that you can fall asleep at the wheel swearving across lanes into the path of monstrous Semi truckscalled Road Trains? pulling up to three + full size trailers! Holy Shit!!
HMMM....No worries about sleep, 1500 miles divided by 160mph (give or take an mph or two) hmmm.... could do that flat out in a c4 in about 9 hours eh Mate?... haha

Just thought you might be able to comment or relate a story Case.

Have a good one!

Why don't you just get a factory pullout from a newer Chevy?

The new ones now probably have in-dash cd changers and mp3 capability.

Nak also had a plain looking single-din unit with a cd changer built into it!

Are you suggesting from a c5 or c6...are they complete tuners or just a dummy like in the c4. Any one know any specs on them? I thought they were coded to only work with certain vehicles though

I had a bid in on an eclipse 5303 and cd changer on ebay, but the guy ended the auction early. WTF? So you haveconverted me!! no more Crack OK !

Andy, I saw an old thread of your's "over there" and it had a referrence to a guy that goes by VrumVrum that makes, or made, a corvette embossed faceplate to fill in the space below a single din unit. really clean install. But I can't seem to locate him

Heres a double din unit I found while browsing crutchfield's site. Pioneer FH-P8000BT. Not too flashy. Got anything against pioneer guys?

Anyone have experience with them? It'd probably look good in a late model C4.

Thats the kind of face plate I would like too CC. Not cluttered-up with excess disco lights and shit and they certainly have a decent reputation. Some reviews seem to say that there are issues with the reliability of the cd player, but, that seems to be the norm. The only problem is the width measurement is 7 inches and the opening in the bezel is 6 3/4. Do you guys think it could be mounted deep enough so as not to have to cut the bezel opening?

Heres the pic. the unit is a a Blaupunkt BPV 655. See what has been done to the bezel?! I got a replacement bezel but do not want to have to do something like the last guy did....that looks pretty bad. To make matters worse, I pulled the rear speaker boxes and found the original Bose speakers....no amps left and hand written on the back of one of the speakers is "8 ohms".....sorry charlie, these suckers are 1 ohm. So you see, I do need something to tide me over for a while. I don't think just any unit will fit. I'll be on the look out for an eclipse. I think I remember reading somewhere that the 5303 is a decent unit if you can find one.

That sums this thread up for me. I couldn't agree more.

I'm an audiophile. And I have done work at a world class shop. If you want a real system, feel free to post up your budget and I will design something.

DD:

Eclipse Head 5v preamp
Directed 5 band parametric EQ
PowerAmper 1.5 farad cap
Directed 600D
Zapco AG 750
2x JL 12W3v2's
Custom sealed enclosure
custom amp rack
custom kick panels
Focal Poly-Kevlar 6 1/2 component set
200 amp alt
Wire by Street Wires.

Budget? Ha! I'm window shopping! Exhaust comes next. I was actually looking for a stop gap in the Sony. There is a Blaupunkt in it now that sounds like crap and the previous owner hacked the dash to install it. I'll have to take a picture and show you. It makes me want to try and find a Blose just to clean up the dash for a while!

Thanks for the offer on design Mekanik. I may hit you up in the future!

Now, from a purely asthetic standpoint, it does fit the 90 dash perfectly. However, the 94 dash is all black... and the silver would jump out big time.

Oh.....tell me how ya really feel Andy!! LOL!!
I'll make note of that and look for an eclipse like Mekanic suggests. Got a model number that would fit? I'm not the total audiofile type. I would like to hear the music over the motor sometimes(but only occasionally, as I love the sound of my Lt1. Other than the 5.4L in my Tahoe, This is the first V8 I've had in years.....I don't think the thrill of the purr will wear off any time soon.)
