Saturday I drove the 83 911 to work. I got challenged by an older RX7. Today I drove the supercharged 91 Vert. A 350Z just had to mess with me. Every day the they keep doggin me. LOL. I'm keeping my cool though. Don't need any tickets for drag racing or driving to endanger so I'm keeping it pretty close to legal. Good thing too. A green and white was front row at the next light.

What's the wire sets of choice around the forum? In December when I had the injector problems the mechanic put on a set of Bosch 8 mm high heat wires but the exhaust manifold is roasting through the boots that cover the plugs. I think the A/C Delco plug boots are slightly thinner material but would be just that extra mm or two further from the manifold to not melt through. Any thoughts or suggestions?

For some reason, I remember hurricanes.
Had 3 in one year. Katrina, Rita and Wilma but
my all time favorite (not) was Andrew.

On the 90 it's center right on the inside under the plastic rear deck lid I believe. You have to make yourself small and lay back there, hook and pull. I've never done it but I came across a post on it years ago. I'm working off of a failing memory.

Tommy apparently did not make it to the other side however a search of "Dead or Alive" did not garner any information of his demise.

I'm only 310 points back from the leader. I can easily make that up in 15 or 20 races. Thanks Kasey Kahne and crew.

A review of the qualifying round points should be a pretty good indicator just how the points in this race are going to go. I got 0 points in qualifying. Who's going to drop like a rock into the bottom 3?

I took the 90 out for a spin to work. A Mustang GT was the first to intimidate. Next was a later model T/A. The usual ricers ripping by ... pppffffftttttttt. Hell even a couple construction trucks couldn't resist taking a shot. Driving home I had about one and a half seconds to power that baby up before I was on the guys ass in front of me. Then fall back into the benign 65 mph bumper to bumper onslaught of Friday night drivers rushing home to do what people do on Friday nights. Saturdays and Sundays are by far the best driving days in So Flo. The rest of the week you might as well drive a Focus. (Or a really old Civic)

They are cool. Then I would put ZR1 badges on my car too. Maybe some bubble rear brake lens covers so that they think my car is totally custom built. Finally a full size rear window decal that says Corvette-Guru.com

Three-part question:

The first Corvettes were mainly distributed for celebrities and GM execs. But a few did make it into the hands of consumers. This question is about just those Vettes:

Who was the dealership that delivered the first consumer Corvettes?

Where (city and state)?

Who bought them (not specifics, but the family name)?
