Thanks Andy, Jim. Actually, I should have been more specific. It's not so much the rollers in the two side tracks as the top center track that the motor and chain are attached to. Any reason I couldn't use either on that track and the chain?

You mean like the stuff you'd use on spark plugs in aluminum heads?

...I like the idea of "Supporting Members" as it will give some sense of ownership. However, I don't like the idea that you can't do things in the forum if you haven't given like those whom have. Examples would be posting pics or changing your name or whatever...

I would have to agree with that but instead of additional rights or privileges, it could be something as simple (or silly, depending on how you look at it) as a C4 Guru decal, or cap or T-shirt. For an especially generous contribution, Andy might think about throwing in a copy of that threesome video he made with Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman on their wedding night. I seriously doubt his wife would have any problems with this as not only do I get the impression that she's an open-minded sort but also this happened long before they ever met...

Any thought on this? I sure wouldn't mind throwing a few bucks in the pot...

What kind of lubrication should you use for the automatic garage door track? Mine is squeaking like crazy. I've a tendency to spray WD40 on everything but I'm wondering if something a little heavier might be more appropriate. It's a Liftmaster, if that's any help. I suppose I could spend a few minutes doing an internet search but this is an opportunity to get my post count up as well as the site's so Andy can charge advertisers more money...

Is the feature where you're sent an email when someone replies to a subscribed thread not working or is it me? I double checked that the email address in my profile is correct and the notification option is definitely turned on. TIA...

Hello old fiends! Scrolling through the C4 Guru member list, it's almost like this place has become a Corvette Forum refugee camp. Well, it's their site and I suppose they can do what they want but it seems to be getting a little too heavy handed for my taste so I'll be joining the great Corvette Forum diaspora and trying to spend the majority of my time here rather than there. At least until Andy sells out to Internet Brands...
