Thought it was going to be a post count thread. I'm approaching it, slowly.

Well, let's try to lighten up the day (although, the Pack WILL sack the Broncos tonight)

Pic of my oldest son's familiy pumpkins (The grandkids are 6 and 3);

TouringMarianne trying her best to scare the trick-or-treat kids this past weekend; (I think she jolted the Blue-Boy fairly good)

And last, but not least, my new monitor (It also has XBOX 360, 5 channel Surround, HD-DVD player, and 25K Dynamic res., 120Hz refresh);

Happy Monday.

All I can say is this;

I'm going deaf, so the louder the better.

Mine isn't really that bad, I haven't been stopped yet for excessive noise in a State that is notorious for excessive noise tickets. So, I'll take that as a plus. (Ask me, I'll tell you how I know)

I have a fairly stock L98 (230hp max @ 5000rpm ?- GUESS), I very rarely get it above 4K RPM, and use my OD religiously. Not a single resonance feel yet (It would have to be a real low res, as that is where my problem is).
Then again, I do have the crossover pipe to relieve the resonance.

The final word is this; It doesn't bother the wife, who has good hearing compared to mine.
We're not kids anymore (in fact, we're grandparents), so, I'll take that as a plus also.

[quote]I don't drink beer, so I could care less... Do the same thing with bottles of Jeagermsister and, well....
:banghead]

The difference here would be;
Beer in the tank = no go.
Jagermiester in the tank= happy engine.

I have heard nothing but good from TLD... I am a little surprised.

Checking the "rant" on that forum that posts commercials inside the threads, there's two pages of positive feedback about "TLD" before it got locked by Mojo.

I think a personal phone call by the OP might be in order, to straighten out the problem.
Seems to me, they (TLD) are a reputable dealer.

This is the second forum I've seen you post this on.

How about a link to the falsely advertised item?
(If they have other false stuff, I can start bombarding them with stupid questions)
Did you e-mail/contact them about it?
Did you provide bad feedback about them?

I've been fortunate over the past 4 years to never have a bad purchase on e-bay, but I always check the ratings before purchasing (not that that'll gaurantee anything)

Uh, I think you got your Generations mixed up. That car pictured is a second GEN. The 82s to 92s were third GEN. First Gens are from 67-69 I think

Ok. I guess I'll call it F2 then.
I figured body style was fairly much the same for 67 to 81s.

The only Gen of F bodies I'll ever like are the first gen.

The wife had a 2nd Gen Firebird ('82), no so nice compared to the '78 pictured below.
Too much plastic.
