Thanks for all the info, I have a 4 day weekend coming up and will be working on this. I will plug my scanner in and check the VSS and chase all the wiring down.

The TPS is at .54v currently however when I push it to WOT the voltage is over 7v and that seems high, sometimes the car will cut off when I am at WOT. I will keep working the adjustment and see if I cant get it closer to spec.

Thanks again

I tested the speed sensor and it was out of range according to the FSM so I replaced it and the connector looked fine, however it did not fix the speedo. It hasn't worked for about a month now. thanks again

I have a 1985 and the speedometer quit working, it stays at 0 and the bar graph does not move either. I have gotton an intermittent code for the TPS. Does the TPS have anything to do with it??? I do have the FSM but can't seem to find anything on speedometer repair. Thanks for your help

I had the Army move me from Bragg to Carson without anything being damaged. A year later they mooved me back to Bragg with the same result. I have however heard of the nightmare stories that allot of soldiers have had to deal with. Before the movers leave your new house make sure you have them put in writing what was damaged in the move. good Luck.

Looks great.

Do you have to own a white car in your neighborhood?

I have been at bragg for 13 of my 14 years in service, I used to run Ardenes alot back in my 82nd days, now I stay away from that road when I run.

I am currently deployed and I stumbled on this C4guru site during my many searches for vette troubleshooting. there is a bunch of good info here. Now I can't wait to get back to my car and get it running.
