Wheel Play

Well here is my question I just finished installing new strut rods on my 77 and a friend o mine want me to help him install some adjustable strut rods. So I did and after we were done I noticed that there is some play in the rear tires. If I grab the tire at 3 o clock and 9 o clock everything it nice a tight now play at all. But when I grab the tire at 12 o clock and 6 o clock I can move the tire back and forth about 1/16" of an inch on both wheels. So is this normal? I did not check mine after I was done but I will.

Well I just wanted to say hello to everyone and look forward to meeting as many of you as I can. Here is a bit about me I'm 49 and employed by the USPS as a rural mail carrier. I own a 77 Dark Blue Vette that I bought from the first owner back in 03. Since then I have done several upgrades listed below but kept all the stock parts.
