I was cursing through E-Bay looking at prices of C5's as I'm wanting to add one to the family soon and I came across this '69 that just seems soooo outrageous I couldn't believe it. This thing is insane!

Ahhhhh yes, the Sema car. Insane for sure, and I like most of it, but I'll pass. LOL. Lots of hard work and money went into that car...but not THAT much money.

I know, I must be nuts.

My wife is all for it as she wants one she can drive. Right now seems to be a good time to jump on it as the prices have dropped considerably.

I would like one all black!

We discussed that car earlier. Some liked it, some would pass.

C5 prices have come down a lot. But I will never have another black/black car. Interior gets too hot in the summer, the only time I drive it. My next vette (not for a long, long time) will be blue w/tan interior.

Good point. My C3 is black on the inside and I bet it gets hotter than a C5. I don't have air and floor boards gets real hot as well. I just like the way black interior looks, but your right, I don't want to burn my butt off either.

2004s appear to be at bargain prices for some reason. For a several thousand dollar difference you can get a lot newer car. Cheap C5's ........ most of them look like money pits to me but I'm sure their are a couple of good deals out there.

I like everything about that car with the exception of the shifter, and the way the exhaust comes through the fender.

Good Luck! There are some good deals. I've been looking for awhile and I'm not in too much of a hurry. If the right deal and car comes along I'll be ready.............

Barrett-Jackson on their best day couldn't hype it up enough to get that kind of money out of it. Ridiculously over priced even if economic times were good.

No expense spared. They will lose their ass selling it though.

Beautiful. Looks like it has rear traction issues.

No expense spared?

What about those rear tires?

Fot that kind of bling, they could at least put some decent treads on there.

On second thought, with the advertised "Low monthly payments" , one could probably tack on a new set of rears without affectint the payment too much.
