To bad you had to give up your build Hokie! I was looking forward to see your results. There is probably other Corvette Forums you need to adverise there also. Add price and shipping.

Looks great! Did you buy it new? Is this the Vette your doing the engine build on?

My dad got it new i got it in 2007 from him.

Yep this one is getting the build. its been sitting about a month due to busted wheel barrings but i got the hubs just need to change them out.

This car is very cheap to keep taxes+insurance i was going to get a c5 Z06 but meh the cost to keep it would be higher so i choose to build this one.

I talked to my neighbor with the 90 regarding headers. The Melrose he bought new through a Corvette Dist. for $750 shipped. I showed him your pics of headers and agrees that they are Hedmen for a Z-28 or Firebird. Hedmen are $300. for a C-4. Andrew from above post is correct! Melrose has a stamp on the collector. Hope this helps.

Yea ive called melrose today and sent them pics im going to know tomrrow.

Most likely ill be getting my money back and sending these back to the guy.

Melrose headers are 690$ ceramic coated from melrose.

I agree with Pewter on the "get a hobby" comment, but as an admin, he should know better than to say that.

And it's hypocritical too, because CF admins/mods routinely checked comments on other forums. So I guess that puts you on their shitlist Hokies!

I hope not! im a lifetime supporting member!

Pewter has always been nice to me tho!

They got a new cop mod in c4 section on a war path those closes every dam fun thread.

They dont come with flanges and they dont appear as mine did. L98 or lt1?

He had the flanges welded on for v clamps

the l98 and lt1 are the same headers now.

He says these are the older version.

Payed 650$ for these seller said they were melrose got them looked on melrose website and the bends dont match.

Asked him why was that he said they were the older style Melrose headers from 5 years ago.

So are these melrose headers or not? the black coating he said he had done by PolyDyn
