It will not crank over. It doesn't even click. Then in about three minutes it starts and runs perfectly. Could it have something to do with the security system????

Thanks for your suggestion!!!! I ordered the part today. It was 1/2 the price for the multi-function switch. Thanks again

Hey Bogus,

You have a good memory. I did have the BMW until I wrecked it in the rain. Flooded out highway on the 105 exit. Nothing but my ego got injured. Going to have it repaired this week. I have a great BMW mechanic who is cheap and really really good. I don't mind wrenching on my own cars with a little knowledge in the background. Thanks for being there because I know of the land mines with certain shops. Your recommendations will be invaluable. I bought a great 93 but it does have some little items that need to be attended. Temperature yesterday in the heat started rising. No problem driving it back from Porterville up over the grapevine. Need a new keyless entry control button. Need the CD fixed on the Bose system. The drivers seat is wearing and I want the leather replaced. Wheels need refinishing. Your site and its patrons have offered several good sources for the wheels. Electric seat on passenger side will not move forward.

Love to get together and discuss our Corvettes. I live on Catalina Ave. just South of Torrance Blvd. My name is Steve.

Thanks for being there!!!!!!!!!

Bogus I think I met you on Palos Verdes Drive in Torrance. We both stopped to look at a old well used red Vette. Nothing major is wrong with the car but I want to get to know and trust a good mechanic for general maintenance and to help when something major goes wrong. We will have to meet again since we live in the same area. Thanks for your response.

Does the 1993 Corvette have a noise from the ABS system when it is actuating itself. It sounds like a gurgling noise and is intermitent. Have Corvette owners experienced this noise and is it the ABS system?
