Does the 1993 Corvette have a noise from the ABS system when it is actuating itself. It sounds like a gurgling noise and is intermitent. Have Corvette owners experienced this noise and is it the ABS system?

Hi and welcome to the site. I have a 90 and when I first get it started I can hear humming noise that I can slightly feel. I would say they all do that but the other guys will chip in soon. I can't hear it later so I think it is just at startup. But I am older now and my hearing is not so good due to many years of loud rock and roll and straight piped Harleys!

When you first back up or take off in the car you will hear a slight buzz sound and a vibration. that is the calibration of the ABS. When I first bought my car during the dark ages, I thought the same thing.

Could you recommend anyone to bring my rims back to original condition? They are peeling. I live in Redondo Beach, Ca.

And I live in Torrance! Welcome aboard!

Ecklers sells a kit that allows DIY, but you have to dismount the tires.

I am not sure who locally does this. I personally hate the sawblades on my 92... so I got Torq Thrust M's. Black spokes, polished rims.
