Has a new filter, put the pressure gauge on this morn. and turned on the key for a second and it jumped right to 40 psi. Started to drop slowly afterwards.

I have a gauge and will check in the morning, I have tried waiting a few seconds and that did not help. If I hold it to the floor it will start, makes me think maybe injector but no codes.

Can anyone tell me where the relays are located for the cooling fans on a 1988 coupe? The fan in front of the radiator is not coming on even with the a/c running so I quess its time to try track down the problem.

Thanks crewzin, alot of this stuff I can tackle myself but its always nice to know of a mechanic to fall back on. My dad lives near Inverness so I get out that way often. Thats a pretty nice drive from here about an hour. I'll have to stop in one day. :thumbright:

Well got her fixed today, turn out once I got into it that the problem was the u-joints on the half shaft. Wheel bearing was still good. Changing out all the rest this weekend. Not that I am complaining because the u-joints are alot cheaper to replace. Thanks again for all the tips. :thumbright:

I have tried a few shops here that should have been able to find the cause but have not yet. The noise coming from the right rear sounds like a clunking and sqeaking noise but all ujoints seem fine. It happens more when I accelerate and sometimes not at all. One shop told me my transmission was bad. I would just like to be sure of what the problem is before pouring money in it.
