Ditto,

Dropped off the 93 to get a front end alignment at Service Chevrolet in Lafayette (great dealership, one of the few in my experience.) and saw quite a few people hovered over the newly arrived ZR1. It looks impressive!!! Amazing what money can buy.

"breakerless high energy ignition became standard in 1975" per a couple of Corvette books. I do not think it was on the 74. (Duh, that is what HEI must stand for???)

Been doing some looking for maybe a late C3, thanks for the good advice.

I think I might just keep the 93 Ruby Red though and forgot the C3. To get any decent hp, you have to figure on upgrades and money. I have some friends that say the C3 and C2 ride smooth, but I am betting the 93 is smoother riding. And my 93 does not have rust.

I am a Corvette newby, here are my thoughts:

*I think you have a lot of folks here with a vast amount of knowledge but not enough newbies with questions. You need both expertise and lots of questions to make this site really take off. Folks at my Corvette club referred me to the "other site" when I had any questions. I got here by reading the posts on the "other site". I suggest advertising by way of sending notes to Corvette clubs, magazines, ect??? to let a larger audience know you exist. Sell some teeshirts with C4 Guru on them to get some revenue. I want one!
*Expanding to other years like you are doing can increase the traffic and exchanges, but you might think about of changing the name to Corvette Guru or C Guru since C4Guru implies just C4's.
*Minor item, but it is nice to highlight the question and have the summary pop up so you do not have to open the whole question.

GREAT Site! Thanks to all that make it go! It is a big help for me.

I suggest that you check NADA, Kelly Blue Book and Edmonson online for prices to get a sense of price range. I did not check them just now, but that sounds high to me. I am also a fan of ebay and had good success with 4 vehicles bought that way. Of course used cars are well not totally risk free, but the price is much better! Good luck and 1/2 the fun is looking!!!
