Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring Maryland has a red ZR-1 on its showroom floor. The car is pretty awesome. They also were playing the German Autobahn video in the showroom and that is one fast frickin' car. I think it is $128k delivered, and they have a potential buyer already.

Also a plug for Sport Chevrolet...They have to be the best dealership I have ever visited. I went there for a meeting with thier General Manager, Sales Manager and Service Manager; as we are considering changing sponsors for our club. They rolled out the red carpet for us yesterday and I truly think they are a customer centered business!!!

Ditto,

Dropped off the 93 to get a front end alignment at Service Chevrolet in Lafayette (great dealership, one of the few in my experience.) and saw quite a few people hovered over the newly arrived ZR1. It looks impressive!!! Amazing what money can buy.

Maybe you should ask for a job as a porter so you can sit in it I have still yet to see one in person, but I'd like to.

FWIW, the last dealership I went to rolled out the red carpet for me. They had 8 employees waiting after hours for me. Why? Because I was buying a new vehicle. They kissed my ass until I turned the key and left.

If you want a true measure their worth, go in there anonymously looking for some warranty work done. The same dealership treated me unprofessionally and with incompetence after purchase.

I hear ya, been there, done that too. I wasn't born yesterday and I have been around a lot of shitty dealerships. This one seems right. Of course I could be proven wrong, but I went out in the shop and talked to the technicians. Several of them stopped what they were doing to chat openly about thier work. Two of the service writers are going to Ocean City this weekend with thier Vettes. Only time will tell. Besides that I never have to go into this dealership annonymously ever again, so I guess I won't be getting kicked in the balls.

The best overall ownership experience I have ever had at a dealer was with my old Honda dealer in Dover.

Price Honda did good. I have no complaints... then again, I am not your average customer, so some of the service work they may have nailed someone else with didn't fly with me.

Got to see one at Bloomington Gold in June. The sales rep fired it up and revved her up a few times too!
I almost dropped a load right there!
