The GM center caps are hard to find and expensive ($60 ea.).
The repro's are not a perfect copy.
The tabs on mine are brittle, cracking/breaking off.
Epoxy/super glue does not bond well.
Aftermarket caps have a wire reinforcement which is a good idea (see photo).
I cut a shallow groove in my O.E. caps, installed a piece of spring wire and used silicone to reinforce it.This should add to the life considerably.
Also note the recess I routed out to allow the caps to work with my aftermarket 11" "A" mold wheels.

Nice job, Jo.
Yea, super glue (worthless crap for anything), JB Weld and a lot of epoxys don't work or last about a month.

Kudos for doing it inexpensively. There's some read good automotive stuff for plastics, 3M, Lord Fusion, Duramix, SEM but the min costs are like $35 for the tubes.

JB Weld makes some plastic stuff and some marine stuff but you have to order it online.

I have some Gorilla Glue 2 part here for a different appliction, I should glue some plastic with it and seehow it works. I don't think it will.
