I would like to replace my carpet in my car. in a C4 convertible is that something most people can do are would you recommend a shop to replace carpet in a C4. Also looking at going with Mid America carpet set, has anyone used them and if so did you like the carpet?

I would go with Al Knoch, actually. But it appears he doesn't do C4 carpets yet.

You might have luck going with later, used carpets. I got a good deal with www.vette2vette.com on some used carpets.

I think there is only one big company making the carpet sets that all the vendors use. Contact Willcox Corvette and see what they recommend. There are a couple different versions of "backing" on the carpets. One is closer to the factory style.

How difficult is it to change out the carpet on these cars?

I've only pulled back sections to run wires, etc. I think it's more time consuming than difficult. It will involve pulling the seats, center console trim, etc. The door panels might be slightly more involved, I think the carpet is glued on those.
