the first time I had it judged it scored a 93. just missed top flight. it was a chapter but this chapter judges hard so that if you took it to a regional you would not be shocked to find you had a 3 flight car. took a lot of hits for small things like hoses belts tires ect the old car is tight. I had a things like gates belts hoses BF Goodrich tires that more or less just picked me to death on the small stuff it adds up in this game.

I would like to rebuild my 89 with all new bushings and use what was OEM the rubber. I have not found a source for those, do they only make poly for the C 4 cars? If I go with that how much diffrent will the ride an the look of the bushings once in the car?

NCRS could and is wrong some times, it is like climbing a mountain what is the point. Because its there, same as going for a NCRS award because its the mountain of the corvette restoration world that few people understand.

Looking for a set of wiper blades that have the ends that look like a arrow tip. These would be the OEM that came on early C 4 cars.

The little light under the spare was a nice surprise lol, and one of my side marker lights went out. I drive my car and on the way over it might have gone out. I had no idea that the car had that little light on it, and of course it was out. I had fun and learned a lot about my car. And should be able to get it to top flight after the fixes from my judging sheets.

How hard is this thing to change out, I had one done on my C 3 and it was a bitch! I am thinking this will be just as bad if not worse to change?

Could the master cylinder if it was bad, make the pedal have a hard feel?

The weatherstripping that is on the door next to the door panels I think is my problem , they look good but they must be letting water into the door and then it is coming through the lower carpet on the door and soaking the door seal carpet. Do the doors on a C 4 have a lower drain for water intrusion into the lower part of the doors? Are do they just have a plastic sheet on the inside of the door to keep water out?

Yes it is on both sides of the car. I put new door weather stripping on the doors. I am not sure where it is coming in all the other weather stripping looks to be in good shape.

my car came with the engine oil cooler. at some point in its life some one took off the heater hoses that came with that option. and now it just has regular heater hoses on it. should I go back with the right ones that came on the KC 4 option and set it back up, or just leave it like it is set up now?
