I hope that I have finally solved my problems with alternator.
I have rebuilt my stock unit x times but it just kept failing. I guess that stock alt doesn't like high revs, because it allways broke when I reved engine past 6k rpm. Anyway, I bought CS-144 140 Amp alternator. I did some search and it looks like everybody agree that it's much better unit than stock CS-130. Maybe I could've played with larger alt pulley but I hope that this will be longer lasting solution. |

Did it come with the pigtail I see in the photo? I cracked my connector and I wondered if I bought a new alternator if it would come with the connector?
How much did it set you back? |

Alternator was $170. I bought pigtail separately for $10.
This is where I got it from: http://www.alternatorparts.com/CS-144_Special_offer.htm |
