[/size:d6fd6d4476] [/color:d6fd6d4476][B][I] I have a oil leak on my Vette. I was told it might be the oil censor. But it's not that. It looks like it is on the top of the motor, towards the back of it. I steam cleaned the motor so I could try to see where it was coming from. I can only see some oil residew. A friend of mine said that it maybe the silicone seal. Anyone have any input on this. I have a 1996, white C4 Vette. 350 LT-1 motor.
And anyone know where I can get a chip for the engine. I have had no luck in finding one

let's see...

The oil leak... check the following areas:

* Valve Covers
* Intake Manifold gaskets
* Oil Filter Housing
* and depending on mileage, the rear main seal.

There are no chips for the 1996. You need a programmer that will update the internal chip. Different animal.
