Have a couple of questions, 93 Corvette LT1 stock motor. Are 22# or 24# injectors the OEM rating?

I am looking at purchasing the 93j69 Bosch III matched flow injectors.

What makes these special for use in 93 MY only?

Thanks in advance and I will be ordering by the end of the month.

Jon or Rich will chime in, but apparently there was a change in the 93 only model year regarding flow rate. Here's a post Jon made before on another forum below. You should be able to find the 93-specific injectors on his website.

Quote:

we are recalling any set of Bosch III for the 93 only. After working with a few customers and some data logging we have come to the conclusion that the specs reported on the stock injector by GM or the aftermarket were wrong and the injectors we used in these vehicle are too small. We have duplicated the stock injector in our Bosch 3 by modification, this does not hurt the performance of the injector as we only added about 1.3lb hr to a different core than we originally used. These injectors will be sent to you at no charge including shipping. All we ask is that you return the original set sent to you, we apologise for any inconvienience.
Please pm us with you name and address as we only can identify a few customers. Ebay purchases do not have the info I need to replace them
Thanks

the 93 lt1 bosch 3 we sell now flows exactly the same as the stock injector.. We have had no problems with these since we recalled all the 22 sets and replaced them with these. on our website they have their own listing

I ordered yesterday and they were shipped yesterday. Great service ! Am going to install just as soon as they arrive. Thanks for the input.

The only problem will be covering these nice new injectors with fuel rail covers LOL

Good luck, Bob. You shouldn't have too much trouble. If you do, feel free to post any questions in the c4 tech section. And take pictures and post them, too!
