No worries, there's a screen and it will live there. I was found a shorty 7/16 wrench in the bottom of a lt1 that was there for years

check your injectors hot.. if any are 12 or under there is a turn to turn short in the coil.. only choice is new injectors..

We moved from south Florida because my house was totaled in a huracaine, move to Georgia, and now we are in tornado ally.. Next move is back to NY. Lol

For that RWHP on a supercharged engine you will need 75lb injectors minimum to get an 80% DC.

In that area I have 72lb Siemens mods, and our 80lb Siemens mods. Price for either is $399 for the set of 8, flow matched within 1%, viton o-rings installed, and a 1 year no questions warranty.

Does sound like you could have one or more partially stuck open, which is a dangerous condition, as raw fuel washing down the cylinder wall can cause scoring and fuel in the oil.

leakdown test would show either A: A stuck injector, B: a bad FPR, or C: a bad fuel pump check valve, very hard to narrow down the 3.

A stuck injector will sometimes show an abnormal OHM reading, but not always.

I have Bosch Design III's for it. FLow matched set as always. 3 year no questions warranty, viton o-rings installed, drop in installation for $129.05 for the set plus $7 shipping.

All our sets are flow matched, we do not charge extra for the service, and it is an important one, making sure each cylinder gets the same amount of fuel can improve mileage, driveability, and prevent one cylinder from running lean or rich, a condition that your O2 sensors can't pick up.

I have our Bosch Design III's, flow matched, drop in replacement, viton o-rings installed, and our 3 year no questions warranty.

With the install kit, which comes with all Fel-Pro gaskets needed for the change, as well as the rail o-rings for the L98.

For the injectors and the install kit it's $199.95 plus $7 shipping.

Hot wire is a relay kit, with larger gauge wire. I do not have them in stock at the moment. Other vendors carry them (jegs has an LT1 specific kit from Casper's) or you can DIY

I got more definitive information after having these pumps tested by an independent company. To run this pump you WILL need to have or add a Hot Wire kit.

Beautiful car. I would check fuel pressure and ohm check your injectors both cold and hot.
